Safety Guard Rail Portable Bases
The bases are the key to these temporary safety guard rail systems. They weigh 108 pounds each, and they are powder coated yellow to resist corrosion. The bases can be painted any color you want, and for an extra charge they can be galvanized. The bases are ordered with or without pads.
The pads have a dual purpose; first they prevent the bases from moving on a slick surface, and second they prevent the base from causing unwanted damage to the surface. Because of the weight of these bases, it is strongly recommended that if you are purchasing these systems you also purchase a transporter for moving the bases around. The bases have a low-profile design with carrying handles, holes for permanent mounting if desired and toeboard holders.
